Capture Salary

The Capture salary function allows capturing and editing financial services for an employee, such as salary and additional benefits. This function opens the Employee salary ... file in details view. When opening it, edit mode is automatically enabled, so you can immediately start entering data.

The "Fields" tab

In the fields for employee information, the corresponding entries from the personnel file are automatically preset.

The "Salary information" tab

  • Date
    This field contains the current date.

  • Type
    This field's selection list allows setting the kind of benefit.

  • Salary
    The salary is specified in the Value ($) field. When increasing the salary, the change from the previous level is automatically computed when saving the file, and output in the Increase ($) and Increase (%) fields.

  • Bonus/commission
    The fields for computing the increase are hidden when you select these benefit types. The bonus/commission amount can be specified in the Value field.

  • Comment
    By selecting this type all fields for entering or computing the amount are hidden. The desired text can be captured in the Comment field.

The "Documents" tab

This tab allows adding salary-related documents to the file.

The "Status" tab

The Status tab displays the file's editing history.

Save file

After your edits are complete, the file can be saved by clicking the corresponding button in the toolbar.

When saving it, the Salary tab of the personnel file creates a link to the salary file, which lets you directly access the file.
