ECM Process Overview
This page provides an overview of the current process and its predecessors and successors. It is used for researching process relationships, but also allows editing the process numbers of the documents belonging to the process.
Actions of the ECM Process Overview
Action |
Meaning |
Process |
|
Find |
Performs a search for all processes that belong to a selected document (document number). This is carried out on the basis of the stored set of rules. The result shows where the process number is correctly stored and which documents are assigned to another receipt. |
Find several processes |
If a document is assigned to several process types, the system searches for the remaining predecessor and successor documents for all these process types. |
Open Data Item |
Opens the record in Business Central that is linked to the document entry. |
Functions |
|
Set Process No. via ECM Process Overview |
If documents are found in the process overview that can be assigned to the process but have different process numbers, it is possible here to update the process number for all documents uniformly to the process number of the primary predecessor. |
Set NEW Process No. via ECM Process Overview |
If documents are found in the process overview that can be assigned to the process but have different process numbers, it is possible here to update the process number for all documents uniformly to a new process number. The new number is taken from the "New process number" field on the page. If the NEW process number is not different from the process number used in the lines, the next number is taken from the ECM process number number series. |
Find Duplicates Process No. |
This function is used to search for duplicate processes. A duplicate is considered to be a document of a different process type, but with the same process number as the current process. Afterwards, the duplicates can be resolved with the action Set NEW Process Number via ECM Process Overview. |
Process Link with Batch Processing |
With this action the process links can be created by batch processing (Link ECM Processes). For recurring processing, the batch processing "ECM Link tasks" can be set up in the ECM Job Queue Entries . For batch processing in the background, the set of rules must be prepared in the ECM process overview setup. |
