Start Offline Synchronization
If archived e-mails are also to be available offline, you can save these in a local PST file via synchronization and match them to the archive contents. During the initial synchronization process, the EASY for Exchange (Outlook) folder under which the data will be later available will be created at Mailbox level. The folder contents are refreshed with every additional synchronization process.
Editing PST files can be controlled via a group policy: If the use of these files is locked, offline synchronization will not be available in EASY for Exchange .
In offline mode, EASY for Exchange only accesses the synchronized data on the local hard disk. Access is, as usual, by opening an e-mail message or via an Outlook search. Synchronized e-mail messages are also full text indexed, so you can search as usual in the message
Contacts and tasks that have been synchronized offline are located as subfolders under the respective Outlook sections (Contacts or Tasks).
