EASY for Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, below abbreviated to EASY for Dynamics 365 FO, extends Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations with functionality for archiving using EASY Archive. This solution serves linking, archiving, and displaying incoming and outgoing documents which model Microsoft 365 for Finance and Operations business processes.

This documentation describes EASY integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, below abbreviated to Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO. The integration enables you to:

  • Archive outgoing documents including their metadata from Dynamics 365 FO in an EASY Archive

  • Extract incoming documents from an EASY Archive, synchronize them with the corresponding documents in Dynamics 365 FO, and update the metadata

  • Store file attachments from Dynamics 365 FO in an EASY Archive

  • Display archived documents directly in Dynamics 365 FO

EASY for Dynamics 365 FO lets you archive 10 document types:

  • Documents generated in Dynamics 365 FO (outgoing documents):

    • Free text invoices

    • Customer invoices

    • Sales packing slips

    • Sales order confirmations

    • Colletion letters

    • Project invoices

    • Sales quotations

    • Purchase order confirmations

  • Documents generated outside of Dynamics 365 FO (incoming documents):

    • Vendor invoices

    • Vendor packing slips
