E-Document Services
You can configure E-Document services on the “E-Document Services” page.
To import e-documents from ECM into BC or export them from BC to ECM, you can make the following additional settings here:
Tab ECM Import
This tab is only applicable if the “E-Document Service” ECM is selected.
Field | Description |
---|---|
ECM Import from On Hold Journal Filter | Filter to be used for the ECM E-Document Journal. This filter is used to get the documents from the On Hold journal that are to be processed. |
ECM Immediately Post On Hold Journal | BImmediately post the ECM E-Document On Hold journal after the documents have been processed. By default the On Hold Journal Lines are posted when the job in the "ECM Job Queue" runs. |
Tab ECM Export
This tab is used for all e-document services as soon as a file is created.
The file is stored in the target system when it is sent. The target system is found via the “ECM document definition.” The “ECM document definition” is found based on the outgoing data record for the e-document. For example, a generated sales invoice in the standard system goes to the “ECM document definition” for the sales invoice and is stored in the repository/library stored there.
Field | Description |
---|---|
ECM Archive Exported Documents | Automatically archive exported and manually imported documents. |
ECM Export File Name | The file name of the file stored in the archive. You can use placeholder %1 = Entry No. or %2 = Document Record ID. |
