Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central licensing

On the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central side, the default client and server licenses are required which, as a rule, are already present for the customer's ERP solution. To load the revision archive (5125010) workflow (5125020) granule to on-premises systems, the customer license must be extended with this granule. The modified customer license fin.fif must then be uploaded to the NVA SQL database in the 365 Business Central development environment.

EASY Archive licensing

Each Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central client that archives and searches requires an EASY Archive user license.

Each user may execute functions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central which cause automatic archiving operations in the background (e.g. printing or posting a sales invoice which the system then archives in EASY Archive). However, not every user is automatically permitted to search in EASY Archive archives. This is controlled via permissions by the respective administrator, or limited by the number of purchased licenses. Using permissions, individual archives can be shared for specific users, or be blocked from viewing.

With each Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central user access to EASY Archive, a concurrent or named license is occupied in EASY Archive, and released again after accessing it using logout. To access the NAS service, however, an EASY Archive license is permanently occupied, and no longer released. For storage / archiving and import monitoring through the NAS service a named license is recommended to ensure that a license is always available for storage / archiving.
